Im kinda new as i only been playing for a few weeks but i been noticing a trend that making me think wtf is wrong with the match makeing. I noticed this in early teirs but did not think much about it as t1 through t3. But around teir 4 and teir 5 especialy 5 MM kept consistantly pitting me against those who are two teirs higher then me. Im either running around in a kiaser or the other teir 5 and im mabe one of two of my teir and everony else is teir VI or VII. Now im finnaly in a teir VI.. NOPE Im up against teir VII or Teir VIII and i might have a fellow teir VI but certinatly not V or Vi Wtf is this? BUT there's simply speaking a 50% chance that it would be your team, so after 100+ battles winrate would showhow good you're personally - your share of battle influence. It's not actually 50%, close though. Assuming a 12 v 12 game, 23 of the other players will on average be the 50 - 50 split. One person on your team though, is you. If you're garbage, then it won't be a 50% chance of your team being stronger. But if you are the boatman, then it'll be higher than 50%. I unerstand your frustration to a point, but the matchmaking is the same for everyone, so over time you balance out. I have some games where I roll my eyes and can see me eating defeat, I have others where I'm the upper tier and I have team mates with intelligence and we destroy the opposing team. Sometimes I string the former together, other times I string the latter. It's not hard to look at a ships tier range and see what you could be facing with it over time, it's not like what it can be up against should be a surprise to you... Overall though, just enjoy the fight, some of my most memorable moments so far are of beating the odds, of using tactical thought to sink a superior on paper adversary, even if overall the team ended up losing.
